PORT OF ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA
Location: The Baltic Sea port of St Petersburg, formerly called Leningrad, is situated on the islands of the Neva Delta, at the head of Neva Bay.
General overview: The port is open all year round, with the help of icebreakers from Nov to Mar. Considerable variations in the water level may be experienced due to prevailing winds. The St Petersburg Morskoi channel is approx 15nm in length and leads to the entrance of the port. At the narrowest point there is a bottom width of 80m.

PORT OF ODESSA, UKRAINE
Location: Odessa is located on the N shore of the Black Sea in the SW part of Odessa Bay, approx 150km NE of the Romanian border.
General overview: The port is open for navigation all year round.
Imports: Raw sugar, containers, fruits and general cargo.
Exports: Non-ferrous and ferrous metals, containers, chemical fertilisers, paper, and cereals.

Location: Ilychevsk is situated on the Black Sea coast near the Romanian border, approx 20km S of Odessa.
General overview: The port has 28 berths, with a total length of 5.5km and depths from 9.6-13m.
Traffic figures: Approx 750 vessels visit the port annually.
Imports 4,800t, exports 162,000t handled annually.

Poti Sea Port is a cross point of the Caucasian Corridor. It is a one of the central part of the TRACECA project. Proceeding from the present situation in Georgia, establishment of a common European market and development of cooperation with the Asian countries have caused a necessity of revising the existing communication systems and provided a basis for an idea of the infrastructure integration.
